Learning to drive
The general consensus is that people who are lean scrutinize every nutritional decision. They obsess over everything they eat throughout the day and walk around recording it all in a book. Meticulously calculating all the information. Wrong.
Getting Lean is a lot like learning to drive.
When you are learning to drive, you have to learn a bunch of rules and adapt to a almost completely foreign environment. Then once the basics are down, you begin practicing your skills, which continues for weeks or months before you feel comfortable behind the wheel. However, what happens next is what happens when you put the time, and effort into getting lean. You can drive without having to put much mental effort into it. Think about it, can you remember how the drive was yesterday? Chances are if you have been driving for over a year, not.
Getting Lean is no different.
-You have to put in effort in the beginning to educate yourself about proper nutrition.
Now this doesn't mean you should turn on the TV and watch Dr. Oz. No offense, but look for information that has scientifically backed studies.
-You have to practice what you have learned.
Practice makes perfect, or at least close to it.
And that's it really. Put forth the initial effort to learn how to diet. Practice what you have learned. Then sit back and enjoy the journey to Lean Freedom.
